AUDIO SHOW DELUXE - something different and something truly unique in the HiFi calendar. For their next Open Day HiFi Lounge are going to be showcasing Wilson Audio Speakers, without doubt makes of some of the finest speakers in the world, you get certain moments in your HiFi life where you hear something for the first time and you know that is the sound for you. To be honest with the release of the new Sasha DAW there has never been a better time to hold a Wilson Audio Open day as these speakers who have been designed by Daryl Wilson in tribute to his Dad, Dave Wilson the founder of Wilson Audio who sadly passed away last year, hence his initials DAW, are quite exceptional, they really are a stunning tribute to Dave.

So what is the day going to comprise of? well they will be running 3 rooms, the final setups are yet to be 100% confirmed but they thought it was time to also run turntables in each room as well as digital so if you’ve got any vinyl you’d like to bring along please feel free, please see below for what we’ll be having running on the day.

A special night dedicated to showcasing the new dCS Bartók DAC with headphones amplifier. We will be joined by experts from dCS who will discuss and demonstrate this fantastic new product.

dCS has released a special edition one-box version of their flagship Vivaldi digital playback system. We are proud to team with both dCS and their UK distributor Absolute Sounds to host an event launching the Vivaldi One in our Central London showroom. Specially designed to mark the company’s thirtieth anniversary and limited to just 250 uniquely numbered pieces, the Vivaldi One puts an integral CD/SACD transport alongside the latest dCS Ring DAC in a single box, together with state-of-the-art network streaming functionality.

After the success of HiFi Lounge's first Boys Toys Day a couple of years ago, where they put their 2 passions and many customers passions of Cars and HiFi into one day, well it is now time for Boys Toys II. Absolute Sounds were only too happy to endorse, and to participate in this great event. We have something very special lined up for this years event, how does the chance of listening to a £300,000 system sound?

HiFi Lounge recently became dealers for dCS and Wilson Audio and what with dCS only being up the road and recently having just finished their new state of the art demo room it seemed like a match made in heaven and the seeds were sown for Boys Toys II.

So for those who missed the first event, what does the day entail? It is a chance to get your car out for a drive and hear one of the finest audio systems in the world, the idea is that if you have a sports car or any car of interest then please come along to HiFi Lounge from 9am where they will have the BBQ running for breakfast bacon and sausage rolls and will have a mini car meet then around 11am you will head up to dCS in Cambridgeshire for an afternoon listening to a very special HiFi System + factory tour.

Join us on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th March for the first UK performance of the latest range of loudspeakers from distinguished Italian manufacturer Sonus Faber.

The new 'Homage Tradition' range see upgrades to two of Sonus Faber's best known and highly regarded loudspeakers - Amati and Guarneri. The range also sees the introduction of a brand new model named Serafino Tradition, a 3.5 way floor-standing speaker, whose name is taken from the history of Italian violin-making (Santo Serafino – 1699 /1758 – Venetian master trained at Nicolò Amati workshop).

The Friday evening event will be split into 2 sessions starting at 6pm and 8pm. The Saturday is an open day with demonstrations of the speakers running throughout.

We will be providing refreshments on the night.

Absolute Sounds and Audio Lounge would like to invite you for the UK Launch of prestige unique Crystal Cable New Minissimo. Minissimo: as its name suggests, this is the ultra-compact realisation of the Dutch company’s swirl-shaped Arabesque speaker range, designed for ultimate performance in a room-friendly form-factor. Guildford Audio once again is running a dedicated show to focus on one of  popular products, in this instance Devialet. This event is being held at their normal Reading* location and is free to park and enter as is the case with all our shows.

We are using two rooms at the hotel to enable us to have workshops running at times throughout the weekend in one room, whilst the other will be dedicated entirely to listening In attendance will be someone from Devialet and of course the importer Absolute Sounds.

Absolute sounds is pleased to announce that on 16^th and 17^th of March  between 6PM and 9PM, together with Classic Album Sundays we will celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of Pink Floyds “The Dark Side of the Moon”.

The Old Vinyl Factory is the site of the former EMI pressing plant,  where the first copies of seminal Pink Floyd album rolled of the presses in March 1973. Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy of Classic Album Sundays will host the event, with guest speakers providing a unique insight and perspective on the record and its production. And then the star attraction – the album itself – will receive an uninterrupted vinyl playback  on an awesome sound system carefully matched by Absolute Sounds  for the event, DJ Colleen will be playing a virgin copy of this legendary album and we feel confident enough that this will be a unique sonic trip.

In addition to this unique event on an historic location, there will be an opportunity for guests to view a new exhibition on the site where EMI, the Gramophone Company and labels such as His Master’s Voice were founded during its 90 years of recording history.
